Today I learned: God knows my heart!
As we prepare to look at emotions and self-control in the coming weeks, we first wanted the kids to know that God knows ALL about what goes on in their little hearts. He knows what they are thinking, what they are doing, and how they are feeling. He knows all about them! (Psalm 139). We learned that because God knows our hearts we can trust him to help us with our hearts no matter how they are feeling! Our Lord Jesus Christ also knows the things that we are feeling and he helps us too! (Heb 2:18, 4:15)
