Today I learned about Jesus Knew God’s Word:
Today we looked at Luke 2:41-52 about Jesus in the temple with the teachers of God’s law(His word). The teachers were amazed at his understanding and answers. He was only 12 years old! Then we looked at Luke 4:16-21 where Jesus finds a scripture written in God’s word and reads it to the people in the temple. It was not as easy to find things in scripture as it is today in our Bibles! Jesus knew where this section of scripture was because he knew God’s word. Lastly we looked at Luke 24:26-32 where Jesus tells 2 of his followers all the things written in God’s word about himself. This warmed their hearts!! Even from the time Jesus was young, he knew God’s word. We talked about how even though your little one is young, they can know God’s word too which will make them grow in wisdom!
