Today I learned: JESUS WAS HUMBLE
Jesus came into the world, not to do what he wanted to do, but what God wanted. He was humble! He didn't use his position as God’s son to his advantage but instead took on the nature of a servant and became obedient, even to the death of the cross! (Phil. 2:6-9) In Matthew 11:28-30 Jesus tells all to come to him and learn from him- for he is gentle and humble and he will give us rest. We talked about what a yoke is and how Jesus’ yoke is easy and light because he bears the load with us. We also read in Matthew 20:26-28 how we can be humble like Jesus by serving others also.
