Today I learned about why God sent Jesus to Save Me:
Today we talked about how the first people God made were made like Him(Genesis 1:26) with spiritual life. Because of this, they were close with God. When they chose to disobey God, they could no longer show God’s glory, but instead did the opposite(sinful)(Romans 3:23). We looked at objects that are opposite from one another. When Jesus came, he never sinned(1Peter 2:22) and showed us what God is like(His glory). He died on a cross to wash our sins away and give us spiritual life so that we could be like God too(2Peter 1:4). To glorify Him which is what God created people to do.
